We have our personal pair of Erhard Audio model Buddy, 120W, PPP KT120 mono block power amps, with auto bias, up for sale. These amps are just over two years old and have always been in our own system, very low hours on them. These were the prototypes of the improved versions of our model Buddy. They are built in beautiful African Padauk wood chassis', with black anodized aluminum top and front plates. The chassis' are'handed', that is, a right hand and left hand chassis.

The output transformers are Lundahl LL1679PP's, the power transformer is our own design and custom built for us by Heyboer Transformers. Speaker impedance is set at 8 OHMS.

The circuit is based on the classic Mullard amp design of the 50's with some modern enhancements, one being a LM334 based CCS (Constant Current Source) and the other being the auto bias. Four green LED's on the top plate indicate bias status for each of the KT120 output tubes. Only high quality parts are used, Vishay Film resistors in the signal paths, Panasonic and Nichicon electrolytic capacitors and Russian PIO coupling caps. The power tubes are point to point wiring, the main circuit and power supplies are built on an in house designed printed circuit board. The power supply is of a choke and CRC type.

Power tubes are a quad of Tung Sol KT120's and the driver tubes are Shuguang 6SN7's. The auto bias module is the same ones we currently sell, they come out of the Czech Republic, and are used in our custom had crafted amps, and we are also the agent for these in the US and Canada. This is a ONCE only chance to get these amazing sounding amps at this kind of a price level.
