Consecutive Dated Pair McIntosh MC75 Monoblock Tube Amplifiers, Shiny, Working
One pair (two) McIntosh MC75 mono block tube amplifiers with consecutive serial numbers (438B4 and 439B4). These are in working condition with no hum. 75 watts power output each. Tube cages for both amps are included.

It is strongly recommended that these be serviced by a qualified technician before put in to regular use. The McIntosh MC75 is a classic vintage McIntosh Tube power amplifier with an impressive 75 watts output.

Complete specifications are listed on the chassis which can be seen in the photographs. All tubes are included, which are all vintage USA, vintage Telefunken, and vintage Mullard (Great Britain) tubes that all test good. Any borderline tubes have been replaced with vintage USA tubes. The tubes shown in the photos are the tubes that come with the amplifiers.

Cosmetically these are in fair condition. The transformers have many scrapes and missing paint. The chrome chassis have many hairline scratches and oxidation, but the lettering is perfectly intact and there is virtually no pitting.

The switches have dirt on them as does areas of the chassis. The screws on the terminal strips are discolored. Just like anything else nearly 60 years old, they need a good cleaning.

These amps look and sound great. Please have them inspected by a qualified McIntosh service center. Please see all photos to see the condition of these amplifiers.

All tubes were checked for gassiness, shorts, microphonics, or any significant grid emissions. A 1KHz sine wave was used as a test signal. The full wave reproduction can be seen on the oscilloscope photo.

This is a photo of the amps running at 60 WPC RMS. As one can see there is no clipping or distortion. These are guaranteed to be as described and function. They will need servicing before extended use.

Since these are nearly 60 years old, they are not warrantied further. Use the cart feature to take advantage of these discounts! These are guaranteed to be as described and in working condition.

They are not warrantied thereafter. If youre not happy with the amps, please get in touch with us first! We will do everything we can to make it right. Operation with poor equipment is easily detected.

We want to be sure these arrive safe and sound. The item "Consecutive Dated Pair McIntosh MC75 Monoblock Tube Amplifiers, Shiny, Working" is in sale since Thursday, August 13, 2020.
