Genalex KT66 W-5M Mono-block + WP-A2 Mono Pre-amp. I refurbish vintage audio equipment as time killing projects.

As I do not do it for living, I usually price them low to sell to new owners who know how to take care of vintage equipment. Up for sale is a set of very rare and difficult to find Heathkit all tube mono system. Including: 1 units of W-5M mono-block and 1 unit of WP-A2 mono tube pre-amp all in very good working order.

The W-5M is the more difficult to find upgraded version with the larger Preeless Output Transformer and the Genalex KT66. A couple of small out of spec resistors have been replaced. Power output: 25 watts into 8 (mono) Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz Damping factor: 40 Input sensitivity: 2.2V Signal to noise ratio: 99dB Speaker load impedance: 4 to 16 Weight: 26.5lbs. It has 5 inputs with individual level controls for 1-phono; 1-microphone; 1-tuner & 2-aux. Frequency response is 15-30,000 kHz + 1. Using together, the W-5M has a multi-cores cable to provide the power for the WP-A2. The power switch on the WP-2A turns both units on and off together. A pilot light has been added to the WP-2A.
