Pair of McIntosh MC30 amps. Serial are # 6E875 & 6E767. The letter from McIntosh is an interesting piece. It was written by Warren Cordeman who is mentioned on Russel Roger (former McIntosh Director of Acoustic Research) webpage. Original GE and Sylvania Output Tubes. (All tubes tested/verified with calibrated Hickok TV-7). These awesome amps built in the USA is an excellent performer.

Wonderful details with glorious tube warmth, clarity and depth. These amps have exceptionally performance capabilities. These units hve tight control over the sound with excellent stability even during the most demanding passages.

All functions, inputs and outputs work properly as originally specified. These amps are such an awesome performer with just a beautiful, rich sound. These units hve been thoroughly cleaned inside and out as well as the internal controls have been professionally cleaned and properly lubricated to provide excellent performance. All pots have been professionally cleaned and lubricated as well.

All tubes, capacitors and resistors have been verified to be in spec and were spot on throughout. Most specifications allow for a +- 20% discrepancy and we use +- 5%. All solder joints have been checked for cold joints an. These units are ready to go! It came in working great from the original owner, but we thoroughly go through the units to assure its longevity and health.

Because these units were such a wonderful original specimen, we took every effort possible to maintain the originality of the unit without sacrificing long-term reliability. All knobs, controls, glass and metal faceplate, endcaps, trim pieces, chassis, internal and external connections, covers and the transformer were detailed, deep polished and ultrasonically cleaned where appropriate while carfeully maintaining the delicate silk screening throughout. This cleaning process alone takes 4 to 5 hours with the complete dismantling of the unit. Even the power cord and plug get detailed and polished. McIntosh Tube amplifiers have a wonderful level of performance.

The MC30 is no exception... Arguably one of the best sounding and looking tube amps McIntosh ever made... A gorgeous looking and sounding unit indeed! The beautiful, classy design really sets it apart from the class!

All voltages have been checked and verified throughout the unit and they are spot on. The amps are crystal clear and provides a wonderful performance level rarely seen. These units come ready to enjoy in very nice cosmetic condition with minimal wear and tear for a unit this age as shown in the pictures. These units were not abused by the original owner and comes from a non-smoking home.

The pictures show just how nice this unit is and you can zoom in on each picture to see additional details. Please note there is some rust on the chrome. The previous owner decided to clean the chassis before bring it to us and removed all the chassis lettering. Feel free to ask us any questions you might have. The tubes will be removed, individually packed and labeled with a loose ID tag/no stickers, etc.
