2 Single-ended custom-built 300B triode tube stereo class A audio amplifiers with Triad R-12A power and Sophia output transformers. Please check out my feed back to see what other buyers have said about my amplifiers. I usually build 45 tube amplifiers, they sound great, and the 45 tube is very musical. Sophia brand parts are top quality many are made in Virginia and very expensive, for a good reason. I used the best vintage USA made Triad R-12A power transformers, vintage Triad filament transformers, and Stancor C1710 200 MA.

Chokes, which I know is overkill, but then so is everything else I used to build these amplifiers. Then I bought the best chassis available. These chassis come out of Texas, they are hand made and are super heavy made (very thick aluminum).

I only used a very heavy, solid silver buss bar or ground strap (expensive but very important to the sound). I bought two USA vintage new old stock Motorola bridge rectifiers to convert the filaments on the 300B tube from AC to DC so you will not get AC hum through the speakers. These amplifiers feature Military grade high voltage ceramic tube sockets, rheostats, and commercial grade plated brass pilot lamp holders. Vintage Supreme brand NYLON not plastic speaker connectors, your choice of 4, 8, ohms and green for ground. Genuine USA made Switch craft brand RCA input connectors.

Genuine Data-Ware Chicago bakelite knobs, with set screws. Just the quality parts used on these amplifiers cost me 2K.

But you are getting amplifiers that will last a lifetime. Not like my competition that asks almost 4K for their 300B amplifiers, which are made with mostly Chinese parts and circuit boards. My amplifiers are all point to point hand-wired by me.

I only use the best parts ever made, usually, that is a vintage part, as most new stuff is junk. The 300B is a great tube you get plenty of power (around 6 watts single-ended), and highs that are very clean and defined, warm midrange, with a fast bass punch that remindes you why you enjoy tube audio.

It is a great hobby. They are all hand made, one at a time, by me in my shop here in Grass Valley Calif. Tubes that come with the amps 2 NOS GE 6SN7 2 NOS GE 5R4 rectifier. 2 New Sophia mesh plate 300B.
