I bought two but the other one burned up within the first hour of use.. It didn't actually catch on fire but it was smoking pretty bad and got very very hot.. So I really can, t tell you how they sound.

So I never really got to listen to them. The tubes do light up though.. In the picture with the band aid, I guess there is a transformer in there. But it is not screwed down very good, when you pick the amp up it bangs around pretty good..

Maybe that is the way the build them in China as that is the way i received it. Good luck getting this thing serviced in America.. I was going to pull the cap off the clunking transformer thing. But the screw was a little soft and the threads stripped out when i tried to remove them. I was not able to get the top off.. Maybe with a blowtorch you could loosen it up and have a look. If you get it open and there is anything inside , please send me a picture.

Anyway I hope it finds a good home. It was entertaining trying the Chinese gear out..
