Many people prefer the vintage WE 91 type, personally i don't think such kind of 300B amps was rationally designed, even that was originally from WE. A good sound 300B amp must be well designed, these amps were well designed and sound as they should. Secret of the good sound are at the output transformer & well designed circuit. Circuit of the amps is well designed. The amps sound perfectly as they should.
