Here is a pair of Dynaco Mk III monoblock tube amplifiers. This pair is in decent shape. They were tested, very briefly, and both amplifiers reproduced sound clearly and with volume. One of the units took a moment to play.
This pair has been modified to have a solid state rectifier. I did not do the work and can not accurately describe what was done. Some of the electrolytic capacitors have been replace while some have not or were simply left in place. This should be a nice restoration project. All transformers appear to be operational. I believe this has General Electric 6550 output tubes - some are clearly labeled while others have had their labels rubbed off. They are all similar looking though. The badge is missing on one of the covers. If I missed something in my description it isn't intentional. This pair is not a perfect match, but they could certainly be fixed up to be quite nice. If you are interested in having them rebuilt, I would be happy to discuss options. I'm a very capable technician. These will be packed very thoroughly and separately. If something bad does happen to the package, I stand behind it. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
