Futterman Otl Mono Block Pair New York Audio Labs Tube Amp

Early 1980's New York Audio Labs Julius Futterman OTL mono blocks (2 amps). They were used for several years in the 1980's and put into storage for over 30 years. They are working but will need to be gone through and some capacitors and other parts replaced before p. All the tubes test good but one of the 6LU8 tubes has a bad/dead Pentode side.

I ordered a replacement 6LU8 tube and it. Be here in a few days. I have been using 1 amp at a time by installing 1 of the 2 good 6LU8 tubes from the other amp.

Both amps sound good with clear audio. 1 amp has a broken plastic speaker connector. The connector can still be used and. Tightened, just the plastic tip is broken/missing.

The amp has a hum when you disconnect the RCA input jack, there is no hum at all if the RCA jack is plugged in, even with no or low audio signal. Both amps run very cool, fans run smooth and quiet.

Both power transformers run cool, no burnt looking components or tubes, no smoke or smells. You can use the amps the day you.
