Mk III mono-block 60watt vacuum tube amplifiers (Set of two) -120Watts total Restored in 2012 -As for cosmetics, they don;t look new, but they look good (could use cleaning). Use two EL34 tubes, one 6AN8 preamp tube, and a 5U4 rectifier tube (each). Restoration notes: a Fully rebuilt bias supply - new diode, new capacitors. B Updates range of adjustment so that EL34, 6550, KT88 or KT90 tubes can be readily calibrated and used. C Massively upgraded B+ power supply - 230uf of capacitance in each amp (was 90uf originally). Main two (first in line) capacitors upgraded to 600V (instead of 525v originally), to easily handle today's higher wall-socket voltages.

Uses 5U4GB tube rectifier to more closely match correct B+ voltages with today's power voltage (rated for 480v B+; original rectifier tube gave 525V, but 5U4GB gives 495v -well within tolerance). D Driver board fully re-capped.

Uses GE 42Lpoly caps and 500v mica caps throughout. All resistors checked- any out-of-tolerance resistors replaced with matched pairs (matched amp-to-amp). All solder joints inspected and re-flowed as needed, to insure proper connection quality. E All transformers thoroughly tested (all meet spec). F Input jacks replaced with machined RCA jacks. G New polished stainless-steel bottom covers, made to exact original dimensional specs (Dynakit replacement parts).
