Pair Vintage Dynaco Dynakit Mark III 6550 Tube Mono Block Amplifiers Restored
This listing includes a pair of beautiful vintage Dynaco Dynakit Mark III mono-block vacuum tube power amplifiers that have been electrically restored and serviced. These amps come as shown in the photos, including all of the tubes. The two pair of vintage GE 6550 metal base output tubes are matched and balanced. Some of the work that was done to these amplifier includes: all of the tubes recently tested strong, capacitors were replaced (including power supply can-type caps), out of spec resistors were replaced, the selenium rectifiers have been replaced, all solder joints have been inspected and any loose connections were re-soldered. Both power cords and plugs are also in good shape and are not brittle. As the photos show, the electrical work is clean and done very well. Cosmetically, these vintage amps are very clean inside and out, top to bottom, with only minor cosmetic wear. The original cages are also clean and in great shape.
All of the lettering on these amps is still clear and easy to read. These amplifiers have been well cared for over the years and, now that they have been restored, they will give you many years (if not decades) of trouble-free use. It is becoming harder to find a pair of vintage amps like these in such fantastic condition, this is your opportunity to own a pair.
