These units feature a sophisticated cathode follower circuit and a dedicated high-voltage standby switch on the top deck to protect the tubes and ensure a clean, low-noise signal. Each block is anchored by heavy-duty Japanese Z11 transformers and a classic four-tube complement of an 845 power triode, a 300B driver, a 5Z3PAT rectifier and a 6H9C preamp tube. Despite its industrial-grade power, the system is remarkably user friendly thanks to its auto-bias design, which eliminates the need for manual tube adjustments.
