Stromberg Carlson AU-34 Vintage Tube Mono Block Amplifier 6L6s. This is a very clean, fully functional nice old tube amplifier that I have had sitting boxed up on the shelf for years. I think it is from the 40s or 50 but dont have an exact year on it. I bought this with the intention of converting it into a 50s Fender Bassman but never got around to that project. I powered it up with a variac and gradually brought it up to full operating voltage. This thing sounds great just the way it is. Im not sure, but I think some of the tubes maybe even most of them are original to the amp.

They all tested good on my tube tester. Even though it was not created as a guitar amp. I plugged my Strat into it and played it through my 2X12 cabinet and it had a cool old vibe and looks cool too.

Keep it just the way it is or convert it to a 50s Fender amp, either way this is a good solid very clean amp with quality components and dynamite transformers. The tubes will be removed and safely packaged inside the unit.
