VTL MB250 250w Monoblock Tube Amplifiers PAIR RECAPPED AND SERVICED READ

VTL (Vaccum Tube Logic) MB250 250-watt Tube Monoblock Amplifier PAIR. MY FUNCTIONALITY NOTES ARE ONLY FOR REFERENCE, THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES. These amplifiers are currently running 8x Tung-Sol Reissue 6550 Tubes per amp. Out of all 16, 12 are dated 2011, while the new matched quartet are dated 2024. All tubes biased to roughly 245mv at 119vac from wall.

PLEASE NOTE: I experienced some minor bias drift on one amplifier, along with a quiet hiss, which may be symptomatic of aging 6550s. May need a few more tubes replaced. Please feel free to reach out and ask questions regarding the repair process and components used.
